Sean has been Powerlifting for 43 years both personally and competitively.
He first started at school and found very quickly it was something he loved doing.
At 16 he won the junior British Championships, which he actually won 3 times; before becoming the under 23 British Champion 3 times.
At the age of 21 he joined the Senior British Team and was the Senior British Powerlifting Champion 3 times.
In total he was a British Champion 9 times
He has won numerous Silver and Bronze medals at the European Powerlifting Championships.
He also won numerous medals at World Championship level before winning the World Title in 1985.
He holds multiple British records in multiple weight classes including 386kg Squat, 250kg Bench Press and 335kg Deadlift.
He holds several Commonwealth and European records and has even featured in the Guiness Book of Records from 1984 to 1988.
He has featured in many magazines and articles worldwide.
Today Sean lives in Cornwall and continues to train while also passing on his extensive knowledge and experience to new generations of Powerlifters.
